Request for Proposal NGA-RFP-011-26 - Media and Communication Consultancy Services at Danish Refugee Council (DRC)
Danish Refugee Council (DRC)
September 01, 2026
Full-time
On-site
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), on behalf of the NEWCAP Consortium in Nigeria, seeks proposals from a Qualified firm or company to provide multimedia storytelling services focused on visual content production and interactive storytelling. The assignment will include field-based filming and photography, consented interviews, written case studies, social media assets, and delivery of raw and edited multimedia content.
The NEWCAP Consortium, comprising the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Solidarités International (SI), and IMPACT Initiatives — working with national partners FACT Foundation, FRAD Foundation, and CENCEX — implements a multi-sectoral humanitarian response in Nigeria under DG ECHO's Humanitarian Implementation Plan (HIP) 2026.
The Consortium's programming spans Multipurpose Cash Assistance, Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM), Protection, and WASH activities, targeting populations affected by conflict, displacement, and severe food and nutrition crises across four programme locations.
As part of its Communications and Visibility Plan, the Consortium is seeking a Media and Communications Consultant to produce a body of visual and narrative content that documents the humanitarian response, demonstrates consortium-wide thought leadership, and supports donor visibility obligations under the EU-DG ECHO grant agreement. This consultancy is funded under the dedicated "Visual Content Production & Interactive Storytelling" line of the Consortium's communications budget.
The Consultant will work under the direct supervision of the Grants and Communications Coordinator, who leads the Consortium's overall communications strategy and media relations. This assignment is scoped specifically to content production — filming, photography, and asset delivery — rather than strategic communications planning.
