Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth research on mortgage markets, housing finance trends, and regulatory developments.
Develop and maintain advanced financial models to evaluate mortgage-backed securities (MBS), structured products, and related investment vehicles.
Identify emerging opportunities in mortgage lending, securitization, and secondary markets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (risk management, trading, advisory) to design innovative investment solutions.
Prepare research reports, white papers, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field; Master's or CFA preferred.
5 - 7 years of experience in investment banking, mortgage finance, or structured products research.
Strong understanding of mortgage markets, securitization processes, and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and statistical tools (Excel, Python, R, SQL).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
