Description


The Resident Supervisor oversees all residential operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance.
They serve as the "bridge" between upper management and frontline staff, ensuring the property meets luxury or brand standards while maintaining high occupancy and guest satisfaction


Key Responsibilities


Operational Oversight: Manage daily check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments to ensure a seamless arrival and departure process.
Staff Leadership: Schedule, train, and mentor teams in housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance departments.
Guest Experience:Address and resolve complex guest concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to maintain strict cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Resource Management: Monitor supply inventory, manage departmental budgets, and oversee vendor relationships.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and security protocols to protect guests, staff, and property assets.


Qualifications


Education: A Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is typically preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 - 4 years of supervisory experience in a hotel or residential setting.


Essential Skills:


Communication: Ability to clearly relay management goals to staff and professionally represent the hotel to clients.
Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills to handle "white-hot" issues or operational crises under pressure.
Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) like Operaand modern AI-driven tools for scheduling and guest engagement.
Organization: Expert ability to multitask and manage complex projects, such as building renovations or large community events.
