Key Performance Areas:
The Resort Manager will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the resort and its associated facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the daily operations of the resort and all associated facilities.
Ensuring that all maintenance and upkeep of the resort are carried out effectively and efficiently.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with guests while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Managing and monitoring departmental budgets and processing relevant financial and operational documentation.
Handling guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
Managing online booking platforms and overseeing bookings across various booking periods.
Leading, motivating, and managing resort staff to ensure excellent service delivery.
Working shifts, weekends, and public holidays as operational requirements dictate.
Key Competencies & Personal Attributes:
Qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years' senior management experience within a hotel or resort environment with a strong Food & Beverage operations component.
Proven experience in operational management and service excellence.
Sound knowledge of budget management.
Experience in asset management and stock control.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Experience in Food & Beverage management, staff scheduling, recruitment, and performance management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Above-average computer literacy.
High level of attention to detail.
Professional, reliable, and of sober habits.
