Resource Assistant:


The Resource Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to Resource Coordinators for Assets, M&S and/or Products. The Resource Assistant identifies possible future resource needs based on upcoming jobs reflected in the business systems, aggregates demand and optimizes material requirements planning to meet the business needs while minimizing inventory levels.


Responsibilities:


Monitor job schedules in planning systems and coordinate equipment mobilization, demobilization, and movements between locations.
Support resource planning by identifying future demand and optimizing inventory requirements.
Maintain accurate data and transactions in business systems
Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Resource Coordinators to ensure timely equipment and material availability.
Manage permits, transportation documentation and insurance records.
Support fixed asset tracking, reconciliation, and inventory control activities.
Generate reports and maintain accurate resource and asset records.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


Experiences & Exposures:


Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Resource Management, Asset Coordination, Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or Operations Support, preferably within Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or Industrial environments.
Strong understanding of resource planning, inventory management, asset coordination, and logistics operations.
Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and related resource management tools.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data reporting, with the ability to analyze trends and support decision-making.
Experience in equipment mobilization, transportation coordination, asset tracking, and inventory optimization.
Knowledge of compliance requirements, permits, dangerous goods documentation, and operational record management.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and Service Delivery teams.
Experience working in fast-paced, multicultural, and operational environments, preferably within the Energy, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Industrial sectors.
