We are recruiting for a Restaurent Hostess to serve as a first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from arrival to departure


Minimum Requirements

Skills and Competencies


Good command of English, an additional language will be advantageous
Endurance to walk and stand for long hours.
Ability to remain calm and professional at all times
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Trustworthy and Reliable
Have good personal hygiene
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is advantageous.


Qualifications


Grade 12
1 - 2 year experience in a similar role.
Previous experience as Restaurent Hostess will be advantageous


Duties and Responsibilities


Manage reservations, seating plans, and guests flow to optimize table usage
Escort guests to their tables and ensure menus are provided promptly.
Liaise effectively with management and service staff regarding guest requirements and special requests.
Maintain the reception and entrance area to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Provide accurate information regarding the restaurant and assist with guest inquiries. are communicated to kitchen supervisor
Assist in managing waiting lists during peak service hours.
