Job Description


We are looking for a competent and highly driven Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and ensure excellent service delivery, strong team coordination, operational discipline, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate must be able to manage people, control costs, improve sales, maintain service standards, and ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly, profitably, and in line with company expectations.


Key Responsibilities
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for:


Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening, closing, service flow, staff coordination, and customer experience.
Ensuring excellent customer service and handling customer complaints professionally and promptly.
Supervising restaurant staff, including waiters, cashiers, kitchen support staff, cleaners, and other operational team members.
Monitoring staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, conduct, and overall performance.
Driving sales growth through proper floor management, upselling, customer retention, and service improvement.
Ensuring that food quality, presentation, hygiene, and service standards are maintained at all times.
Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation, stock availability, and quality control.
Monitoring inventory, stock usage, wastage, and supplies to prevent shortages, theft, or unnecessary losses.
Ensuring proper cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, and compliance with company financial procedures.
Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across the restaurant.
Training, coaching, and correcting staff where necessary to improve performance.
Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and disciplinary standards.
Identifying operational gaps and recommending solutions for better efficiency and profitability.


Requirements
The ideal candidate must have:


Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2-7 years experience.
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, Supervisor, or similar role in hospitality.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, stock control, and sales management.
Ability to work under pressure and manage busy service periods.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of hygiene, food safety, and operational standards.
Ability to manage staff discipline, customer complaints, and daily operational challenges.
Strong reporting, planning, and coordination skills.
High level of honesty, accountability, and professionalism.
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and late hours where required.
