Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Officer to oversee revenue generation, billing, collections, and reconciliation processes within our healthcare facility.
The ideal candidate will ensure accurate patient billing, timely revenue collection, proper documentation of financial transactions, and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
The role is critical to maintaining financial integrity and supporting the organization's revenue cycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage patient billing and revenue collection processes in line with established policies and procedures.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, refunds, and other financial transactions accurately and promptly.
Reconcile daily revenue collections and prepare periodic revenue reports for management review.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on payments from patients, HMOs, NHIA, corporate organizations, and other stakeholders.
Ensure accurate capture and verification of patient and payer information before billing.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in revenue management, accounting, billing, or finance.
Experience in a healthcare, hospital, HMO, or medical services environment is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, billing processes, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
