Job Summary
The Accountant (Risk & Audit) manages financial records while integrating risk assessment and internal control functions into daily accounting operations.
The role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proactive identification and mitigation of financial and operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Identify, assess, and monitor financial and operational risks.
Develop and implement internal control procedures to mitigate risk exposure.
Conduct periodic risk assessments and control reviews.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Monitor fraud risks, financial irregularities, and internal control weaknesses.
Prepare risk reports and present findings to management.
Support the implementation of enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks.
