Role Objective

A leading hotel in Konza is looking for an active and flexible room attendant for ensuring that generally that the hygiene contribution in the housekeeping standards are maintained.

Core Duties and Responsibilities


Ensure cleanliness in guestrooms and public areas etc.
Coordinate with other departments, such as Front Desk and Maintenance, to address guest requests and cleanliness standards is attained
Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Handle guest complaints and ensure follow-through
Changing and making beds with fresh linens.
Cleaning and sanitizing all bathroom fixtures (sink, toilet, shower/tub).
Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
Vacuuming carpets or sweeping and mopping hard floors.
Emptying trash and recycling bins and replacing liners.
Restock all in-room toiletries and bathroom amenities and other guest supplies.
Checking all room equipment (lights, TV, air conditioning) to ensure they are in working order.
Promptly reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or necessary repairs to the supervisor or maintenance department.
Notifying the supervisor of any lost-and-found items.
Organizing and arranging furniture and decor to ensure a neat, welcoming, and standardized room environment.
Ensuring the assigned room is fully stocked, clean, and tidy by the end of the shift.
Stocking the housekeeping cart with the necessary linens, cleaning chemicals, and guest supplies before starting the shift.
Any other duties assigned.


Job Specifications and Qualifications


Certificate in Hospitality Management, Catering and Accommodation or related field
Experience as a Housekeeper, preferably in hospitality
At least One (1) years experience
