Key Responsibilities:


Provide inspiring strategic leadership aligned with Sacco's mission and values to propel sustainable growth.
Oversee daily operations to maximize operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong financial stewardship.
Forge and maintain strong relationships with members, regulators, and other industry stakeholders.
Champion initiatives aimed at sustainably growing the sacco innovatively.
Lead and develop a team towards high performance to achieve a shared vision.
Embed a culture of transparency, accountability, and member-centered service delivery.
Design member-focused products and provide efficient service-delivery so as to deepen member engagement.
Advice the Board of directors on strategic initiatives and operational matters while introducing innovative solutions to support growth and efficiency.


Required Qualifications and Skills:


Minimum bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration or a related field.
Master's degree and CPA(K) or related qualifications are an added advantage.
At least 3 years' working experience as a Sacco manager or in managerial role preferably within the cooperative movement.
Strong understanding of Sacco governance and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven ability to foster an intrapreneurial culture aligned with strategic objectives
Solid financial acumen and pragmatic approach to challenges.
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems and an openness to adopting emerging technologies within practical limits.

Clearance certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
