Monitoring of Variable Trade Allowance Spend
Responsible to capture all Variable Trading Term agreements in SAP to ensure accurate provisions
Responsible to calculate all rebate payments and rebate claim deductions in accordance with valid trading terms
Process all rebate settlements for payment for approval & release by Trade Allowance Controller
Compile monthly Rebate Recon for BU of responsibility for approval by Controller
Handle Customer Variable Trade Allowance queries
The trading term percentages determine the variable rebate accrual and this requires tremendous accuracy and attention to detail.


Responsibilities


Responsible to create Rebate, Distribution & Growth agreements in SAP
Compile Trade Agreement Summary
Validate customer rebate deduction claims received from AR against trading terms
Responsible to calculate all rebate settlements for payment
Process all rebate settlements for payment for approval & release by Trade Allowance Controller
Handle Customer Variable Trade Allowance queries
Investigate and provide comments on monthly Rebate Recon discrepancies identified and execute corrective action
Comply to Standard Operating Procedures, Service Level Agreements and policies
Internal, External and SARS audits > Accountable & Executing Actions
Park journals for FIFO & Variable Trade Allowance adjustments


Qualifications


Qualification - Grade 12. Tertiary qualification would be advantegeous
Commercial and Financial Acumen within an FMCG environment with at least 2 years experience
Excel competency compulsory
