Role Description
The Sales Agent role is a full-time, remote position responsible for promoting and selling dSchool's educational software solutions to individual customers, schools, churches, and other partner organizations. Daily activities include identifying and qualifying leads, presenting product features and benefits, conducting online or phone demonstrations, and following up to close sales. The role involves responding to inquiries, providing timely and courteous customer support, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Sales Agents will also collaborate with the training and support teams to ensure customers understand how to use the products effectively and will provide feedback from the market to help improve offerings and sales strategies.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with diverse stakeholders.
Customer Service and client relationship management skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term partnerships.
Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing, ideally with experience in software or educational products.
Insurance or related sector exposure is an advantage, particularly understanding of selling to families, schools, or community organizations.
Training and presentation skills to demonstrate products and guide customers in effective usage.
Proven ability to work remotely, meet targets, and manage time and priorities with minimal supervision.
Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and online communication platforms.
Prior experience in education, edtech, or community outreach is beneficial.
Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
