Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of animal feeds, veterinary vaccines, premixes, and feed additives, while overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the Ibadan sales outlet.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Functions:
Promote and sell animal feeds, vaccines, premixes, and feed additives to farmers, distributors, and agro-dealers.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Provide technical guidance to customers on product usage and benefits.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts.
Administrative Functions:
Oversee the daily operations of the Ibadan sales outlet.
Manage stock inventory, ensure proper documentation, and prevent stock losses.
Supervise outlet staff and coordinate sales activities.
Maintain accurate sales, financial, and inventory records.
Ensure proper cash handling and reconciliation.
Liaise with head office on stock replenishment and operational matters.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Science or related fields
Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in sales of animal feeds or veterinary products.
Strong knowledge of livestock production and animal health products.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
