Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Sales and Business Development Officer to drive growth, identify new revenue opportunities, and expand the company's footprint in the Oil & Gas sector.
This role requires strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage high-value client relationships, partnerships, and competitive bidding processes.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Sales and Marketing Manager in strategic business planning and go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and competitive tenders.
Lead client engagement and relationship management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and revenue targets.
Prepare sales forecasts, market analysis, and business development reports for management decision-making.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and seminars to drive networking and partnership opportunities.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform growth strategy.
Collaborate across internal teams to ensure delivery of solutions to clients and partners.
Perform additional strategic tasks as assigned by the Sales and Marketing Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA or professional business development certifications are an advantage.
3 - 5 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles, preferably in Oil & Gas or related industries.
Proven ability to drive revenue, manage client relationships, and win tenders or bids.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial acumen.
Understanding of industry dynamics, asset management, and project lifecycle management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
