Our client, one of East Africa’s leading companies operating in the steel industry is looking to recruit a Sales and Marketing officer to join their sales and marketing team.
Job Description
Overview of the role
Drive sales & marketing activities and implement impactful sales strategies to increase sales revenue.
Develop strategic business plans and effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and ensure market presence.
Implement sales and marketing activities to grow the brand
Manage the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for all products.
Build strong customer relationships by understanding and meeting their needs.
Collaborate with other sales managers to achieve set goals and targets
Identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and competition for growth.
Develop and implement sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of operating budgets.
Present accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business-related field
4-5 years proven success in sales and marketing skills
Focus on understanding customer needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
Possess analytical, creative and problem-solving abilities.
Adaptability to adapt in a competitive and fast-paced environments.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel across the country
