Key Responsibilities
Drive sales and marketing of Shariah-compliant products through sales activations, campaigns, community outreach and other promotional initiatives.
Educate members on Islamic financial solutions, savings and financing options to enhance product understanding and uptake.
Cross-sell Sacco products and services to new and existing members to deepen member relationships and increase product uptake.
Identify and develop emerging markets and member segments, particularly within Muslim communities, to support business growth.
Support market research, member feedback and financial literacy initiatives to inform product and service improvements.
Build and maintain strong, lasting member relationships while ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Accurately capture member applications and related information in the CRM system and submit timely weekly and monthly sales and performance reports.
Manage assigned member portfolios to ensure they remain active and adequately funded, including appropriate follow-up with members.
Ensure all sales, onboarding and member engagement activities comply with Shariah principles, KYC, due diligence requirements and applicable Sacco policies and procedures, and undertake any other duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Diploma in a business-related field from a recognized institution.
Bachelors Degree will be an added advantage
At least three (3) years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, customer relationship management, banking or financial services.
Demonstrated ability to prospect for new business, acquire and retain customers, achieve sales targets and build sustainable customer relationships.
Training or certification in Islamic Banking and Finance will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of sales and relationship management, customer acquisition, KYC and due diligence requirements, with knowledge of Shariah-compliant financial products and principles.
