Job Summary
A combined Cashier/Sales Associate role, responsible forproviding excellent customer service, managing transactions, and maintaining store appearance.
They act as the face of the organization, greeting customers, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
Responsibilities
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
Track transactions and report any discrepancies
Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
Achieving established goals.
Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
Increasing in store sales.
Superior product knowledge.
Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts
Identify business growth opportunities of company's services
Development of strategies to increase sales of the company's services
Improve company services being patronized by existing clientele
Getting customer feedback to determine whether customers are satisfied with the company's services
Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
A B.Sc Degree (2.2 orHND) in any discipline
2-5 years in a sales/Cashier role
Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
Basic Computer knowledge
Customer service & Relationship management
Strong communication and time management skills
Customer satisfaction-oriented
A professional appearance.
Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
