As TWC expands its customer-facing and reservations operations, we are seeking a passionate, customer-focused, and detail-driven Sales Consultant to join their team and support the full sales and booking cycle (remotely).

Role Purpose

The Sales Consultant will handle client inquiries, design bespoke safari itineraries, manage reservations, and ensure seamless travel logistics from start to finish. This role requires excellent communication, strong sales orientation, high accuracy, and the ability to coordinate with both clients and internal teams in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Client Engagement


Respond promptly to inquiries and design personalized safari itineraries
Convert leads into confirmed bookings through professional sales support
Provide exceptional client service before, during, and after travel


Reservation and Booking Coordination


Confirm lodges, flights, park permits, transfers, and activities
Ensure accurate documentation of all confirmed bookings
Place reservation holds and issue confirmations within required timelines


Safari Logistics and Documentation


Prepare guest itineraries, travel packs, vouchers, and briefing notes
Communicate guest preferences and special requirements to respective teams
Conduct pre-arrival checks to ensure accuracy and service readiness


Cross-Team and Supplier Collaboration


Liaise with Accounts, Operations, and Field Teams for smooth trip execution
Follow up on payments and maintain accurate booking files
Communicate efficiently with safari guides and partner lodges


Quality Control and Issue Resolution


Perform final checks before travel to avoid errors or misses
Support quick resolution of any service-related concerns
Contribute to reporting and continuous improvement processes


Other Duties


Maintain updated knowledge of destinations, lodges, and safari products
Support marketing initiatives when required
Undertake other responsibilities as assigned


Minimum Qualifications


Diploma or Bachelor's in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field
Minimum 2 years' experience in safari reservations or travel sales
Fluent in English and Kiswahili
High organizational accuracy and ability to multitask in a remote setting
Computer proficiency (MS Office, email systems, reservations software)
Knowledge of Tanzanian safari destinations and wildlife travel logistics
Preferred Software Competencies
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Outlook, Google Workspace, Zoom, WhatsApp
Canva / Photoshop (added advantage)
TripAdvisor and Google Business Suite
