Role Purpose


The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving project sales and business development for a portfolio of construction chemical solutions. The role focuses on identifying project opportunities, engaging key industry stakeholders, providing technical support, and ensuring successful specification and adoption of products in construction projects.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen to achieve sales growth, expand market penetration, and build long-term client relationships within the construction sector.


Key Responsibilities


Identify and secure new project opportunities across commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure sectors
Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and government agencies
Drive product specification in project designs, tenders, and execution stages
Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution recommendations
Conduct site visits and support clients during product application and implementation
Identify tenders and upcoming project opportunities in the market
Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, and forecasting reports
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets


Key Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
3 - 5 years' experience in technical sales, project sales, or business development within the construction industry
Strong experience in construction chemicals, waterproofing systems, flooring systems, coatings, or related building materials
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts
Strong experience working with contractors, consultants, developers, and project stakeholders
Strong technical understanding combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills
