We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to join our Industrial Automation team in Cape Town. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading automation brands to deliver tailored solutions across a diverse industrial client base.


Product Portfolio:
Our portfolio includes leading global brands such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, Rittal, LAPP, Balluff, Cognex, Troax, and Murrelektronik.

Key Responsibilities:


Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Identify and develop new sales opportunities
Respond to customer inquiries, including technical queries
Present technical products and solutions clearly and confidently
Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth
Continuously develop technical knowledge of automation products and applications
Maintain accurate CRM data and provide market feedback
Attend networking events and industry trade shows


Requirements

Education:


Engineering/Electrical qualification advantageous
Valid driver's license and own transport


Experience:


2 - 5 years' experience in technical sales
Strong knowledge of industrial automation components, including PLCs, switchgear, VSDs, safety systems, sensors (IO-Link), vision systems, and cabling
Proven track record of matching products to client needs and achieving sales targets
Established network in Western Cape/Cape Town
