Responsibilities
Prospect, identify, and acquire new industrial and manufacturing accounts within assigned territories or factory zones.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with factory managers, procurement heads, and engineering teams to secure repeat business and service contracts.
Present and demonstrate technical specifications, machinery, or industrial consumables to plant engineers and technical decision- makers.
Prepare accurate technical quotations, negotiate bulk pricing structures, and close high-value B2B sales deals.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and volume targets set by the Sales Manager.
Gather field intelligence on manufacturing trends, competitor product offerings, and upcoming industrial projects.
Coordinate closely with Production, Logistics, and Engineering teams to ensure precise order fulfillment and custom product configurations.
Monitor client payment schedules and ensure timely collection of receivables in accordance with agreed corporate credit terms.
Follow up on equipment deliveries and collaborate with the Customer Service and Technical Support departments to handle product modifications or warranty claims at the client's site. *
Professionally represent the company at industrial trade shows, manufacturing expos, and corporate procurement meetings. Identify emerging market demands to suggest new industrial product lines, spare parts, or efficiency-driven solutions.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Marketing, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
Minimum 2-3 years of proven sales experience specifically within an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy machinery environment.
