Our client in the cereals distribution sector is seeking to recruit highly driven Sales Executives to support market expansion in Garissa and the wider Northern Kenya region. This is a fully field-based role, requiring strong experience in FMCG sales, distributor management, and territory growth.
Preference will be given to candidates currently based in Garissa. However, candidates willing to relocate to Garissa and with proven experience working within the Northern Kenya region are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Drive wholesale cereals sales within Garissa and surrounding regions
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
Identify, onboard, and grow new distributors and wholesale accounts
Build strong relationships with: Food distributors, Retail outlets and HoReCa clients (Hotels, Restaurants & Catering)
Ensure strong market penetration and product visibility
Monitor competitor activities and pricing trends
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports
Manage assigned territory independently and deliver results
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in: Business Administration, Marketing, Sales & Distribution, Agribusiness or Food Science (Diploma or professional certifications also acceptable)
Minimum 1 - 3 years' hands-on field sales experience in FMCG / food products (mandatory)
Proven experience selling to: Food distributors, Retailers and HoReCa accounts
Demonstrated experience working within Northern Kenya region (mandatory for non-residents)
Strong understanding of cereals and food distribution networks
Proven ability to: Grow territory sales, Manage pipelines independently and Consistently meet or exceed targets
Computer literacy and CRM usage is mandatory
Valid driving license or reliable mobility is an added advantage
