Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a sales business plan covering sales targets, revenue, and expense control
Achieve and exceed planned sales goals
Set and manage individual sales targets for the sales team
Monitor performance, track results, and report on sales activity
Lead, coach, and manage the commercial sales team
Coordinate with marketing to support lead generation and promotions
Drive continuous training and development of sales staff
Motivate, mentor, and support salespeople through regular engagement and performance management
Build strong customer relationships and promote dealership products and services
Understand customer needs and align sales strategies accordingly
Support dealership objectives and contribute to overall team success
Perform any reasonable and lawful duties as required by the Dealer Principal
Minimum Requirements
2 - 3 years' experience in a similar Sales Management role
Commercial vehicle sales experience essential
Proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
Experience in customer relationship management
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a sales team
Matric or higher qualification
Valid Code 8 Driver's Licence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous Dealer Principal exposure or experience advantageous, as the company offers strong succession planning opportunities
