About the Role
Hyves (Hyves Technology Limited - https://www.hyves.ng/) is seeking an experienced, results-driven and motivated Sales & Partnership Executive to join our team.
This role is critical to driving revenue growth and fostering strong relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate has 3 - 5+ years of professional experience, showcasing sales leadership in high-growth or high-revenue technology companies.
The ideal candidate will have proven track record in sales and partnership engagements.
The Sales & Partnership Executive is responsible for driving company revenue by identifying new business opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients
This role means the Sales & Partnership Executive must exercise a strong sense of ownership and its attributes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Delivery, Strategy & Leadership:
Execute the company's sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with sales plan
Contribute to advisory to the product team on client needs
Drive sales growth through research, lead generation, meetings, cold-calling, networking, social media, and industry events and thorough follow-up.
Manage a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales opportunities and communicating progress to management
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
Manage and maintain key client relationships and resolve issues
Advisory of the management on strategic client needs.
Represent Hyves at client meetings to showcase products and services.
Maintains a good level of understanding and knowledge of Hyves's products and services, ensuring that customer queries can be captured and dealt with quickly and accurately.
Negotiate and close sales
Ensures that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets (Key Performance Indicators (Key Performance Indicators)) in line with business objectives
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to your line manager
Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales tools
Global & Strategic Collaboration:
Represent Hyves at events, conferences, summits, and thought leadership platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with company offerings, providing market intelligence and feedback to support product development and positioning
Support the Executives in preparing and implementing annual work and resource plans; support their applicability within the overall company strategy
Collaborate with executives and/or other sales team members for strategic sales closure
Attend sales meetings and reporting daily and weekly updates to Line Manager
Professional Conduct:
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Speaks positively and enthusiastically about the Company and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues

Ensuring that all sales activities are in accordance with the guidelines of the Hyves's Code of Conduct
Perform other duties that may be assigned by Line Manager
Required Experience & Skills
High sense of responsibility, accountability, professionalism, integrity and ethical standards
Experience in fast-growing scale-up companies.
Strong result-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Experience working with remote distributed teams.
Proven track record of successful product sales, partnership and/or business development.
Proven track record in sales and partnership engagements
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers is a significant advantage.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and independently.
Strong analytical skills and a result-oriented approach to problem-solving
Excellent negotiation, presentation and verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working in ambiguity and the constant change of life at a startup.
Showcased intelligence in quickly identifying gaps in client's processes and operations and proposing aligned solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of OND qualification in any related field.
3 - 5+ years of experience in field sales in FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, or enterprise or retail technology; achieving provable targets.
Knowledge of the Cooperative space will be an advantage
