Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sales person to join our team in Benin City, Nigeria. As a Sales person , you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service whilst ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
Greet customers in a warm and welcoming manner
Accurately count and reconcile items at the beginning and end of each shift
Scan items, bag purchases, and provide receipts to customers
Maintain a clean and organized area
Assist with stock-taking and inventory management when required
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
Qualifications
BSC, HND or Diploma degree in Accounting
Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred
Computer literate
Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash and perform basic calculations quickly and accurately
Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanour
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions
Good time management and organisational skills
