Job Description
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing cybersecurity opportunities across mid-market and enterprise customers.
This role requires strong consultative selling skills, deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions, and the ability to align security offerings to business and risk objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle for cybersecurity solutions, from prospecting through deal closure and handover.
Identify and qualify opportunities for MSSP services including SOC monitoring, SIEM, incident response, cloud security, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
Engage customers in consultative discussions to understand business risks, compliance needs, and security maturity.
Develop tailored proposals, pricing, and value-based business cases in collaboration with pre-sales, SOC, and engineering teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, and IT leaders.
Work closely with Customer Success and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term account growth.
Manage pipeline health, forecast accurately, and meet or exceed assigned revenue targets.
Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging cybersecurity threats to inform sales strategy.
Support renewals, upsell, and cross-sell initiatives across existing accounts.
Requirements
5 - 8 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 - 5 years selling cybersecurity solutions or services.
Proven track record of closing complex, consultative deals in cybersecurity or technology services.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as SOC operations, SIEM, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), compliance frameworks, and incident response.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (pre-sales, engineering, SOC, customer success).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling MSSP or managed security services.
Exposure to regulated industries (financial services, fintech, healthcare, telecoms).
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, cloud certifications) are an advantage.
