Job Description
Oversee the day-to-day management of all school vehicles (buses, vans, and staff vehicles)
Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, serviced, and compliant with regulatory requirements
Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance and repairs
Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing, fuel usage, and inspections
Supervise and manage school drivers, including scheduling and performance monitoring
Ensure adherence to road safety and student transport policies
Coordinate transportation logistics for daily routes, school trips, and events
Monitor fuel consumption and control operational costs
Investigate and report accidents or incidents involving school vehicles
Ensure all licenses, insurance, and inspection certificates are up to date
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in fleet management or transport coordination
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to supervise and manage staff effectively
Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting
