We are seeking to recruit an experienced and highly competent School Laboratory Technologist to support practical Science learning across our:
CBE Junior School
Cambridge IGCSE
Cambridge AS & A Levels
IB Diploma Programme
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Science Laboratory Technology, Applied Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, preferably in an international school, college, university or research environment.
Practical experience supporting Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics laboratories.
Strong knowledge of laboratory health, safety, chemical handling, storage and disposal.
Experience in laboratory equipment maintenance, inventory management and procurement.
Experience with Cambridge and/or IB practical requirements will be an added advantage.
Excellent organisational, communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
High level of professionalism, initiative, integrity and attention to detail.
Commitment to child safeguarding and learner safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that laboratories, equipment, chemicals and practical resources are safe, well-maintained, adequately stocked and ready to support high-quality Science teaching and learning across all programmes.
