Job Overview


We are seeking a vigilant and trustworthy Security Guard to protect our depot, employees, batteries, vehicles, equipment and other company assets.
The successful candidate will help maintain a secure environment through access control, regular patrols and prompt reporting of security concerns.


Responsibilities


Control access to the depot and verify authorized personnel and vehicles.
Monitor the movement of batteries, vehicles and other company assets.
Conduct regular security patrols around the premises.
Identify and report suspicious activities or potential security threats.
Report theft, damage, accidents, security breaches or other incidents immediately.
Ensure gates, doors and designated security points are properly secured.
Monitor compliance with security and safety procedures.
Support emergency and evacuation procedures when required.
Perform other duties assigned by the Depot Manager or Management.


Requirements


Minimum of SSCE/OND.
Ability to read and write.
Previous security experience is an added advantage.
Good communication and observation skills.
Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
Honest, responsible and professional.
Ability to remain alert and respond appropriately to security situations.
