To develop and maintain a security policy, develop programs to protect inventory, moveable and immovable assets, operations and information against threats posed or possibly arising from malicious practices, crime and labour unrest.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Prepare and regularly update security policies, plans and procedures.
Identify and evaluate threats, vulnerabilities/ exposures and consequent risks to company assets and operations.
Develop human material and procedural security protection measures.
Ensure safety training for staff is conducted regularly.
Manage/ collaborate/ monitor with contracted security team.
Uphold regulatory compliance within the organization
Manage security affairs and go to person for security related matters including breaches
Provide detailed reports on activities and incidents that have occurred to management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
At least Diploma in security related field.
Computer literacy skills.
Professional accreditation.
At least 5 years experience in a similar position
Keen eye for detail and excellent knowledge of security protocols
Effective communication skills.
Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations.
