Job Summary
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling the premises,and controlling access points. You will be the first line of defense against unauthorized entry, theft, and safety hazards.
Key Responsibilities
Verify the identity of all employees, visitors, and contractors entering the facility. Manage visitor logs and issue temporary badges as required.
Patrols: Conduct regular foot patrols of the perimeter, parking areas, and sensitive zones to ensure all entry points are locked and secure.
Respond immediately to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches, following established protocols.
Maintain a detailed daily occurrence log. Promptly draft incident reports for any thefts, property damage, or safety violations.
Required Qualifications
Education: Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND)or SSCE with 2 years experience
Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar protective role.
Exceptional alertness, physical fitness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A clean criminal record and a high level of personal and professional ethics.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff and visitors.
