Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team . As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, assets, and facilities while maintaining a professional and customer-focused environment.

Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the security team, ensuring adherence to company policies and local regulations
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate security measures to mitigate potential threats
Develop and maintain emergency response plans, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
Monitor and analyze security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
Investigate and report security incidents, violations, and suspicious activities
Train and mentor security staff, promoting a culture of vigilance and professionalism
Manage shift schedules and assignments to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency
Conduct regular security audits and inspections of the premises
Liaise with clients, employees, and visitors to address security concerns and provide assistance
Prepare and maintain accurate security reports and documentation

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
Minimum of 2 years of experience in security management
In-depth knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response procedures
Familiarity with Kenyan security regulations and best practices
Valid security certification or license as required by Kenyan law
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in using security management software and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Customer-oriented approach with a professional demeanor
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required
