Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Process and load payments for suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Oversee accounts reconciliations, collections, and receivables management.
Address existing financial and data entry backlogs and update accounting records.
Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
Ensure statutory and tax compliance (PAYE, VAT, Withholding, NHIF, NSSF, etc.).
Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and supporting schedules.
Support management in implementing financial controls and best practices.
Uphold confidentiality and integrity in managing large volumes of client funds.
Qualifications and Experience
CPA (K) qualification (Certified Public Accountant - Kenya).
Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a reputable audit or accounting firm.
Strong understanding of IFRS, tax laws, and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Proven ability to handle high-value financial transactions with honesty and precision.
