Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnosing, monitoring and treating children who are injured, ill or living with disabilities
Performing comprehensive examinations on newborns and children to identify abnormalities and checking for normal growth and development
Prescribing treatment methods, including administering medication, performing surgeries and other therapies
Discussing diagnosis and treatment plans with parents and children
Ordering tests and referring patients to Specialists
Advising patients and their family members on medication use, nutrition and preventive measures
Creating patients' medical reports to support other healthcare professionals
Requirements for Appointment.
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B:Ch.B) degree from a recognized by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
Masters in Pediatrics and Child Health
Diagnose diseases such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and prostate problems
Evaluating patient history, conducting physical examinations (e.g., prostate exams), ordering lab tests (e.g., PSA), and performing imaging studies or biopsies.
Performing both major and minimally invasive surgeries (e.g., robotic-assisted surgery, laser techniques, cystoscopy).
Treating cancers of the bladder, kidney, prostate, and testicles.
Providing consultations, developing personalized treatment plans, and performing follow-up care.
