Are you a passionate Senior Back End Developer ready to build secure, scalable and high-performing software solutions for web and Windows applications? Join our team to develop APIs, implement business logic and leverage modern frameworks, microservices, containerisation and DevSecOps practices to deliver reliable, maintainable software.
What you'll do:
Design, develop and maintain back-end components for web and Windows applications.
Develop server-side functionality using relevant technologies, including C#, JavaScript, .NET Framework, .NET Core and Node.js.
Design, develop and maintain APIs and application integrations.
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of microservices architectures.
Implement appropriate API security and application security controls.
Develop reliable, scalable and maintainable application services.
Collaborate with front-end developers, business analysts, testers and solution architects to deliver integrated solutions.
Identify and resolve defects, performance bottlenecks and integration issues.
Apply containerisation practices to support consistent application packaging and deployment.
Contribute to DevSecOps practices and the integration of security into the software development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment activities and technical troubleshooting.
Maintain technical documentation and support application maintenance and production issue resolution.
Apply approved coding standards, development practices and security requirements.
Qualifications:
Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
Certification in Software Development.
Your Expertise:
At least six (6) years of experience developing web and Windows applications.
Experience with technologies and practices including:
C#.
JavaScript.
.NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
Node.js.
Microservices architecture.
API security.
Containerisation.
DevSecOps practices.
Required Competencies:
Server-side application development.
API design, development and integration.
Application security.
Microservices design and implementation.
Software troubleshooting and debugging.
