Responsibilities

Solution Development


Design, code, and test extensions in AL for Business Central.
Customize pages, reports, and workflows to meet business requirements.
Build and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs and connectors.
Migrate legacy C/AL code to AL extensions.


System Maintenance


Troubleshoot and resolve Business Central application issues.
Optimize performance of AL code and database queries.
Ensure stability during upgrades, patches, and migrations.


Project Delivery


Collaborate with project managers to deliver ERP enhancements on time.
Participate in requirement gathering and solution design workshops.
Provide technical documentation for all customizations and integrations.


Governance & Compliance


Adhere to coding standards, version control, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with licensing, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Support transition planning and cutover execution during ERP projects.


Qualifications

Technical Expertise


5+ years of hands‑on development in AL and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Strong knowledge of extensions, events, and APIs in AL.
Proficiency in Visual Studio Code, Git/TFS, and DevOps pipelines.
Experience with SQL Server, Power BI, and Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus).
Understanding of Dataverse integration and cross‑tenant access scenarios.
