Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead the development, accreditation, and implementation of Higher Diploma programs in the assigned specialty area
Coordinate curriculum design, review, and continuous improvement
Provide academic and clinical leadership for the program
Teach, assess, mentor, and supervise Higher Diploma students.
Establish and coordinate clinical training placements and partnerships.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality assurance requirements.
Coordinate program planning, budgeting, reporting, and resource management.
Promote research, innovation, and evidence-based clinical practice.
Build strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, professional bodies, and other stakeholders.
Perform any other duties related to specialist clinical training and program development as may be assigned.
Incidentally participate in training in the basic clinical officer training

Qualifications & Skills
Higher Diploma in the relevant clinical specialty from a recognized institution.
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
Valid professional registration and practising licence.
Registered as a trainer with TVETA
Added Advantage:
A Master's degree in Clinical Medicine, Medical Education, Public Health, Health Professions Education, or a related field
Experience with providing and/or coordinating e-learning and blended learning
Experience with NCMTC teaching and learning methodologies
At least five (5) years of relevant post-qualification clinical experience, including two (2) years in the specialty area.
At least (3) years' experience in teaching, clinical instruction, or supervision of healthcare trainees
Demonstrated experience in cuniculum development, programme coordination, accreditation processes, or other forms of academic leadership
