Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Executive to join a values-driven organization and support the management of financial operations, reporting, compliance, and budgeting.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who can ensure financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare accurate financial reports in line with organizational standards.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
Assist with the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
Track financial performance and recommend cost control measures.
Accounting Operations
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end closing activities.
Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure timely remittance of statutory obligations such as PAYE, Pension, NHF, and NSITF.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
Audit & Risk Management
Support internal and external audit processes.
Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets.
Identify potential financial risks and support mitigation strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Professional certification (ACA or ACCA) is required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance or accounting within a structured organization.
Experience using accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
Experience in a non-profit or faith-based organization is an added advantage.
