Senior Fire Optic Splicer/ Supervisor -Telecommunications at MPRTC Recruitment

An established telecommunications company is seeking an experienced Senior Fibre Optic Splicer / Supervisor to oversee fibre installations, maintenance, fault finding, and restoration projects. The role includes supervising field technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship, managing reporting requirements, and supporting network operations in the field.


Requirements:


Minimum 5 years' fibre optic splicing experience
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience essential
Strong OTDR and OLTS testing experience
Experience with fibre fault finding and restoration
Ability to supervise and coordinate multiple technicians
Valid driver's license
Own reliable vehicle required for travel to and from the office
Good communication and reporting skills
Ability to work standby and after-hours when required
Experience with Centricity or similar systems advantageous
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
