Salary: R329 783.04 (Post level 9)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12
FF 1 + 2. Awareness, Operational or any of Hazmat Technician or Pump Operator or Rescue Technician, Swift Water Rescue or Fire Instructor or relevant.
Certificate in Fire Technology or equivalent.
3 years' experience at fire service field
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Lead and manage all staff within his shift.
Address shift concerns and provide conflict resolution.
Exercise control over usage of fire brigade vehicles and equipment and ensure maintenance of all its assets.
Establishment and sustaining discipline within the Shift. Supervises the fleet management of the shift.
Ensure availability of fi refighting machines and equipment. Compilation of fire reports. Asset management within the shift.
