Reporting to the Deputy Director - Asset Tracing, the jobholder is responsible for the provision of guidance and execution of investigation into offences that involve corruption and economic crimes and support prosecution in court.
Duties and Responsibilities
Providing technical support services to investigative functions of the Commission in the field of Surveying, including generation of technical reports;
Liaising with external service providers/experts in the survey, inspection and valuation of assets/projects subject to investigations;
Providing professional opinions and advisories on projects/assets under investigations in the area of Landed properties;
Supporting of civil recovery and criminal cases proceedings by tendering evidence/expert opinion in court.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment as a Senior Investigation Officer - Quantity Surveyor, a person must possess the following qualifications:
Minimum of ten (10) years' relevant work experience in a comparable position in a reputable organisation, with minimum three (3) years post-registration experience with the relevant professional body;
A Bachelor's degree in Land Economics, Real Estate, Property Studies or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;
Registered as a Quantity Surveyor by the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS)
Member of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK) in good standing;
Certificate in computer application skills.
