Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Land Surveyor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in land surveying, strong familiarity with land administration processes in Ogun State, and the ability to lead and manage a survey team effectively.
Proficiency in modern surveying technology, including drone operations, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all land surveying activities, including boundary, topographical, and construction surveys.
Coordinate and manage survey teams to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
Liaise with relevant government bodies, including the Ogun State Lands Bureau and other land departments, for documentation and approvals.
Prepare, review, and validate survey reports, maps, and legal descriptions.
Ensure proper title verification and support land acquisition processes.
Operate and oversee drone surveys for mapping and data collection.
Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Resolve land-related disputes and provide technical advice to management.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies on all project sites.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
12 - 15 years proven experience in land surveying.
Strong knowledge of land laws, land documentation, and processes in Ogun State.
Experience working with government land agencies and regulatory bodies.
Proficiency in the use of modern surveying tools (Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, GIS software).
Practical experience in drone operation and aerial surveying (certification is an added advantage).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
