Senior Lecturer - International Faculty - Nursing at Zetech University

Job Objective

The University is expanding its academic horizons by seeking exceptional international scholars, researchers, and industry-experienced academics from around the world to join our team. The candidates should be willing to relocate to Kenya for a period of at least two (2) years.

Duties and Responsibilities


Offer academic and administrative leadership;
Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
Contribute to curriculum internationalisation;
Mentor junior academic and research staff;
Supervise research and mentor diverse student cohorts;
Engage in impactful research, publications, and grant applications;
Support global partnerships and cross-cultural initiatives;
Bring fresh, global perspectives to the classroom and the University at large;
Community service and outreach.


Qualification and experience


A minimum of a relevant PhD and a Masters degree in Nursing (Medical-Surgical, Paediatrics, Critical Care or Psychiatry) from an accredited university;
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited university;
Be registrable with the Nursing Council of Kenya.


Additional Qualifications Requirements:


Must be currently serving at the level of a Senior Lecturer in an accredited University;
Must have a minimum of three (3) years teaching/ research experience at the university level;
Must have evidence of publications, attendance and contribution at academic conferences and having attracted research funds;
Supervised at least two (2) postgraduate students to completion;
Demonstrable leadership, administrative experience and abilities.
