Job requirements:


A Grade 12 Matric
A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Health, General Nursing or equivalent
Computer literacy
3 - 5 years' relevant experience and a 1 year experience in Primary Health Care will be an added advantage
valid motor vehicle driver's license.


Key performance areas:


Conduct research into best practices associated with the functionality and determining the appropriateness of specific HIV/AIDS policies/ procedures for implementation and updating procedure manuals
Monitor the coordination and implementation of Council's internal workplace policy, programmes and IDP objectives, and external role (Local Government responsibility) with respect to HIV/AIDS programmes
Collaborate and coordinate meetings with relevant stakeholders in ensuring implementation of the Integrated Multi-Stakeholder Health Promotion & Wellbeing Strategy (IMHPWS) plan across the Districts • Leverage Community, Civil Society, and Private Sector Partnerships to improve Service Delivery and Client Outcomes by increasing access to HIV and AIDS, TB and STIs services
Continuous engagement with Civil Society Structure, organisations, departments and other key stakeholders and contribute towards capacity strengthening of the Civil Society sectors on HIV and TB issues
Participate in Provincial Council on AIDS, Operation Sukuma Sakhe/DDM and other related meetings, e.g., provincial partners meetings and organise and preside over meetings and workshops with external stakeholders
Provide technical support and supervision to Department of Health and the Organizations' projects in the supported Districts
Initiate and negotiate partnerships and alliances that amplify the impact and reach of the organization's initiatives.
