Job Summary


Multixept Associates Limited is an established architectural firm with over 25 years of experience.
Founded in Lagos and now headquartered in Abuja, the firm provides architectural, project management, and construction-related services across Nigeria through its group of companies.
We are currently seeking to engage a Senior Project Manager to support the operations of our group companies (MultixeptAssociates Ltd, BTech Construction Ltd, and Akida Hills Ltd). The successful candidate will:
Oversee large-scale architectural and construction projects from inception through completion;
Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality and safety standards
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines with procurement teams, and ensure effective collaboration between consultants, contractors, and stakeholders and drive the successful execution of projects across the group's portfolio


Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Mobilization:


Lead the development of the project execution plan.
Review and approve work schedules.
Establish milestones, resource allocation, and site mobilization plans.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants before site commencement.


Technical Oversight of Construction:


Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets design specifications.
Resolve technical construction challenges on site.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and building codes.


Contractor and Site Team Management:


Supervise site engineers, project engineers,foremen, and contractors.
Provide technical direction and problem-solving guidance.
Monitor workforce productivity and ensure adherence to work programs.
Provide leadership and mentoring to engineers, architects, and contractors.


Stakeholder and Client Management:


Serve as the primary point of contact between thestakeholdersand the project team.
Lead project progress meetings.
Present technical updates to project stakeholders.
Manage expectations and resolve disputes.


Project Reporting and Documentation:


Prepare weekly and monthly project reports.
Maintain documentation of progress, changes, risks, and approvals.
Track KPIs related to time, cost, quality, and safety.


Risk Identification and Mitigation:


Track project progress against the approved construction schedule.
Identifydelays,technical, financial, and operational risks earlyand implement recovery plans.
Develop risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure contingency plans are in place.


Requirements


Master's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
Certifications: PMP, PE, LEED, AIA, CCM (preferred)
8 - 12years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, with proven success in budget control and scheduling
Advanced knowledge of design, construction, and business practices
Excellent scheduling skills with experience in project phasing and rollouts
Proficiencyin MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD
Strong understanding of design drawings, project documentation, and luxury construction standards
Advanced project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and permitting processes
