We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives within a Juristic (Legal & Compliance) environment in the banking sector. This is a critical role for a delivery-focused leader who can navigate regulatory complexity while driving strategic outcomes.
You will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating large-scale projects that sit at the intersection of business, legal, compliance, and technology.
This role requires a strong leader who can ensure delivery excellence while aligning projects to business strategy, regulatory requirements, and organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-wide projects within the juristic domain
Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, goals, timelines, resources, and delivery approach
Define and execute project strategy aligned to business and regulatory objectives
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, including development of contingency plans
Drive stakeholder engagement across business, legal, compliance, and IT teams
Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, regulatory standards, and internal policies
Track and report on project progress, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership
Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Required Experience & Skills
8 - 12+ years' experience in Project Management, with a strong track record delivering large-scale initiatives
Proven experience in the banking or financial services sector
Exposure to juristic / legal / compliance projects (highly advantageous)
Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and regulatory environments
Experience managing enterprise-wide, cross-functional programmes/projects
Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement at executive level
Strong financial and resource management capabilities
Relevant certifications (preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum
