We are seeking a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the financial viability and profitability of large-scale residential developments.
A Senior Quantity Surveyor who thinks like an investor and acts like a commercial gatekeeper. This is a strategic, high-impact role for someone who thinks beyond traditional Quantity Surveyor functions — combining cost management, investment analysis, and decision-making.
Minimum requirements (Advantageous):
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in residential property development.
Proven experience in large-scale residential developments (50+ units).
Strong track record in feasibility modelling and cost planning.
Experience across the full property development lifecycle.
Advanced Microsoft Excel (non-negotiable).
Proficiency in Dimx, WinQS, BuildSmart and BIM tools.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and protect project margins.
Confident in challenging assumptions and making go/no-go recommendations.
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Conduct detailed feasibility studies and financial modelling for new developments.
Control cost planning, budgeting, and margin protection across the full project lifecycle.
Perform due diligence and risk analysis on potential developments.
Independently verify and challenge external QS reports and assumptions.
Support procurement and contractor pricing strategies.
Provide strategic input to optimise development performance and scalability.
Work on high-volume, high-impact developments.
Play a key role in scaling a fast-growing property investment business.
Direct exposure to strategic decision-making and leadership.
