Key Performance Areas:-
Provide Research Capability to the CCMA
Conducting Reactive and Proactive Research
Compile Internal and External Research Publications
Analyse CCMA Statistics and Economic Data
Key Requirements:
Postgraduate degree (NQF 8) specialising in Social Research Methodology/Statistics (A Master's degree would be advantageous)
Minimum of five (05) years' Applied Research experience, either in the Private Sector or Public Sector Research with a proven track record of Research studies undertaken. This will include exposure of at least one (01) year in the Labour Law field and proficiency in Project Management.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of quantitative & qualitative research methodology (research design, sampling, designing research tools & analysis)
Knowledge of database management techniques and predictive modelling strategies
Sound knowledge of Statistical tests (validity tests, reliability tests, Anovas etc.)
Knowledge of OLRAC SPSS/STATA/ ATLAS T.I/POWER BI and any other Data Analysis software
Knowledge of credible Artificial Intelligence platforms that can support the ethical development of the Sub-Unit's outputs
Knowledge of the South African Labour market and the International sphere having an impact on the CCMA's operations
Knowledge of the CCMA's processes and its functions
Knowledge of the PFMA and other regulations governing a public entity
Knowledge of all applicable Labour legislation (e.g. LRA, BCEA, EE, SD, etc.)
