Job Summary

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new clients, managing existing customer relationships, and promoting the company's freight forwarding and logistics services. The role requires a proactive professional with strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, shipping processes, and supply chain solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales within the logistics or freight forwarding industry and possess excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities


Identify and develop new business opportunities within import/export, logistics, and supply chain sectors.
Promote the company's freight forwarding services including air freight, sea freight, customs clearing, warehousing, and haulage services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, shipping companies, agents, and other stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service agreements to prospective clients.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business opportunities.
Prepare periodic sales reports and provide updates to management on performance and market developments.
Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to enhance business visibility.
Ensure compliance with company policies and international shipping regulations.


Requirements & Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong client relationship management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management will be an added advantage.
